Facial Feminisation Surgery in the UK at Nuffield  Brighton Hospital

Nikhil Maini is the facial feminisation surgeon at Nuffield Brighton Hospital.  Mr Maini first became involved in FFS seven years ago and is the only surgeon to have had extensive formal training in the art and science of facial feminisation surgery in the course of many FFS operations in Brighton and East Grinstead.

Mr Maini is proud to consult and operate at Nuffield Health Brighton, a hospital that has a long history of looking after patients seeking gender affirmation surgery.  The nursing, administrative and support staff are all here to look after you.

Your First Consultation

Mr Maini will spend time understanding your individual needs by listening to you and observing your facial features.  He will gain an understanding of your expectations and explore the benefits, risks and limitations of surgery in your specific case.  He will explore the story of your gender identity and any other treatments you might have had.  You will have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss possible procedures.  The fee for this consultation covers all pre-operative consultations.  Mr Maini will write to you and your GP to summarise the meeting.

We are all individual. In the same way, the combination of procedures required will differ.   It is very rare to need all of the above operations, and it is better to be selective, opting for the procedures that will have the greatest impact on your dysphoria.

Mr Maini adheres to WPATH guidelines therefore treats adults who live in the UK,  who have a diagnosis of gender dysphoria from a specialist.
